Procedure
Mash in with 5 gallons of water to reach 153F. Mash out with 2.5 gallon boiling water to reach ~170F. Batch sparge with an additional 2.25 gallons. This should yield 6.5 gallons of wort. FWH with an ounce of Mt. Hood and continue with the recipe as stated. |
